Taiwan Strengthens Its Presence in the Embedded Sector

Nuremberg, March 14, 2025–Taiwan’s industrial computer industry continued to shine on the global stage, making a powerful presence at Embedded World 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany. With over 140 participating companies, Taiwan became the largest international exhibitor at this prestigious event, demonstrating its importance in the industry.

(IINews) - A striking 35-meter-wide and 8-meter-tall billboard– covering more space than half a basketball court – was prominently displayed at the entrance, serving as a powerful visual landmark for the exhibition. It featured logos of 120 Taiwanese exhibitors, attracting global buyers and industry attention. As the largest foreign exhibitor at Embedded World 2025, Taiwan welcomed deeper partnerships – not just as a supplier, but as a key driver of AI innovation and long-term collaboration.

The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion highlighted the best of Taiwan’s innovations, featuring 17 companies and 50 meticulously selected products that demonstrated the country s global competitiveness in smart technology. The pavilion served as a one-stop hub that catered to a wide range of client needs with innovative and reliable solutions. In addition, a directory of all the Taiwanese exhibitors at the show was also made available.

One notable case during the trade fair involved Edimax, which met with a German food manufacturer requiring operations in -30°C conditions and a customized networked refrigeration control solution. With a demand for 10,000 units, Edimax demonstrated how Taiwanese companies could deliver cutting-edge, high-performance solutions tailored to global market demands.

“Taiwan and Germany are united by a strong tradition of precision engineering, high-quality manufacturing, and technological innovation,” remarked Prof. Dr. Jhy-Wey Shieh, Representative of the Taipei Representative Office in Germany, during his address at the well-attended opening pressconference. “The interestin Taiwan’s AI-powered solutions at Embedded World 2025 reflects the potential for further collaborations and business opportunities in Germany and across Europe.”
“Embedded World 2025 served as a key platform for Taiwan’s technology leaders to present solutions to critical industry challenges,” said Peggy Lin, Deputy Executive Director of TAITRA, in her closing remarks. She highlighted Taiwan’s expanding role in energy-efficient AI solutions and edge AI computing in response to growing global demand.
